A Quick Intermission

26 weeks in, it's time to stretch our legs.

Happy Friday 👋🏼 We’re halfway through the year. This is issue 26!!

When I started The Fourth Wall, I thought I was writing about theater marketing. And I was. But somewhere along the way, the scope widened. The questions shifted.

Now, it feels like I’m writing about the whole ecosystem—not just how shows are sold, but how they’re made, shared, received, misunderstood, loved. How they live in us.

Week by week, we’ve talked about audience and visibility, strategy and longing, attention and care. We’ve zoomed in on specific stories, and zoomed out to ask what they reveal. It’s been a way of making sense. Of staying close. Of remembering why this matters.

And maybe more than anything, it’s been a space to stay in conversation—with you. With what we’re building. With what we’re becoming.

So this week, I’m calling an intermission.

A Quick Ask

If you’ve been reading—whether since January or just the past few weeks—I’d love to hear what’s been resonating.

This 3-minute survey is anonymous, and multiple choice. But it will help me figure out where we’re headed next.

Thank you in advance. Truly.

Next week we’ll be back to regularly scheduled programming.

But for now, the house lights are up. The curtain is down.

Thank you for being here.

See you next week ♥️
